Sylvia Ganier, a dairy farmer’s daughter, moved to Nashville after graduating from Appalachian State University. As chef/owner, she established Cibo, a pioneer restaurant in the upscale fast casual movement in Music City. Currently Sylvia is the Chief Farm Operator (CFO) of Green Door Gourmet, an agritourism farm. She is a sought after speaker on food, farms and the intersections of the two. Sylvia is a founding member and past president of the Nashville Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International.
