Originally from Alabama, Caroline has been in the hospitality industry since being a hostess during high school over 15 years ago. She met her husband Tony Galzin while working at MK in Chicago and they decided to pursue a culinary partnership in Nashville. She and Tony immersed themselves in the Nashville food community, hosting farm dinners and pop-ups, and supporting Hand On Nashville. They were the opening team of the 51st Kitchen and Bar, and left to open their much acclaimed restaurant, Nicky’s Coal Fired, also in The Nations.
