We Are Hiring: Social Media Coordinator
Les Dames Nashville is seeking a social media professional who will serve as the voice for the chapter and facilitate building a community across our social channels for a year-long commitment. Beyond just promoting events and chapter happenings, the ideal candidate would be responsible for developing a basic social media content calendar, creating and curating content, scheduling content across our Facebook and Instagram channels, engaging with members, followers and relevant organizations and internally flagging or responding to comments & questions as they arise. This person will work closely with our Internal Communications and Marketing committee leaders.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee LDEI Nashville Facebook & Instagram accounts
Create cohesion and consistency across posting
Brainstorm engaging social media content and campaigns
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner
Collaborate with LDEI Nashville leadership to ensure chapter tone & voice
As needed, attend chapter events for live posting (or designating a representative to cover social during events)
Suggest and implement new features to develop chapter awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Requirements and skills:
Proven work experience as a social media account manager
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Expectations:
At minimum, weekly posting on socials for LDEN
Familiarizing yourself with Nashville Dames and their Organizations and Opportunities for reposting
Member Highlights
Timely response to questions and comments on socials
Traction updates at Board Meetings
Monthly Compensation:
