Les Dames Nashville Offers Two New Grants to Meet Middle Tennessee's Immediate Needs
The most important aspect of our organization is its mission to mentor and support women in these fields. In 2020, we have updated our Community Investment Program and are now accepting applications for Career Support Grants and Disaster Relief Grants. These are available to women in Middle Tennessee who work in the fields of food, beverage, hospitality, and farming and related businesses.LDEI Nashville Career Support Grant Overview:Because of the adverse economic impact of COVID-19, many women in the fields of food, fine beverage, hospitality and farming have seen their livelihoods damaged and their current business models come to a halt. These cash micro-grants are designed to assist them in their recovery. Funds can be used to pay bills, recreate website/online presence, purchase needed equipment, get training---whatever is needed to help support and sustain. We are awarding grants in increments of $500 and $1000. (Note: Because the $1000 grant exceeds the $600 threshold, it will be reported as 1099 earnings.)Deadline to submit application is May 31, 2020. Recipients will be notified by June 7, 2020.

We are awarding grants in increments of $500 and $1000. (Note: Any grant exceeding $600 will be reported as 1099 earnings.) Funds may be used in any way to give relief: pay bills, replace lost equipment, get training, recreate online presence, etc.Deadline to submit application is May 31, 2020.
