Les Dames d’Escoffier Nashville 2022 Scholarships & Grant Applications Now Open

Including the Inaugural Tallu Schuyler Quinn Legacy of Hope Award

Deadline for Applications is July 31, 2022

Nashville, Tenn. (June 23, 2022) — Les Dames d’Escoffier (LDEI) Nashville is proud to announce that its scholarship & grant applications are now open for 2022. Beyond annual education scholarships and business grants, LDEI Nashville is thrilled to expand its community support this year with the addition of the Tallu Schuyler Quinn Legacy of Hope Award for those who are working to change lives in the areas of food justice, food sustainability and food security. Since its inception in 2017, LDEI Nashville has awarded more than $50,000 to women in the fields of food, beverage, hospitality and farming in the Middle Tennessee area.

New for 2022, the Tallu Schuyler Quinn Legacy of Hope Award honors the memory of beloved longtime Dame Tallu Schuyler Quinn. Tallu embodied the mission of Grow, Cook and Share in both her work at The Nashville Food Project, which she founded in 2011, and in her everyday life. Her love of cultivating community through the most basic right and gift of food dismantled barriers in food security. Not only does this award honor and celebrate Tallu’s life, it continues her legacy: supporting women committed to changing lives through food, community and hospitality. The Legacy of Hope Award of $2,500 will help sow needed funds to women in Middle Tennessee who are working to change lives in the areas of food justice, food sustainability and food security.

Additionally, annual education scholarships and business grants are available to women who reside in the Middle Tennessee region, and meet the criteria specified in the applications. Interested applicants should visit https://www.lesdamesnashville.org/scholarships for more information as well as to submit an application.

Submission deadline for all awards, scholarships and grants is July 31, 2022. Recipients will be notified by Aug. 15, 2022.
