LES DAMES NASHVILLE AND CHEF MARGOT MCCORMACK HOST LUNCH WITH LIDIA BASTIANICH

Three-course meal will raise funds for the Les Dames Nashville Scholarship Fund

 

Nashville, TN (OCTOBER 3, 2016) — On Tuesday, October 25, the Nashville chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, along with Chef Margot McCormack of Margot Cafe and Marche, are honored to welcome best-selling cookbook author, television host, and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich for a three-course luncheon at Margot Cafe, featuring dishes inspired by the chef’s latest book, Lidia’s Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine.

Chef Margot will create a menu that pulls inspiration from Lidia’s recipes while incorporating the local and regional ingredients of Middle Tennessee. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, which will be paired with a selection of Bastianich wines, as well as a discussion with Lidia about her rich heritage in, and knowledge of, Italian cuisine and how she enjoys preparing fall ingredients.

Guests may add the purchase of a signed copy of Lidia’s Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine to their ticket price and receive their book at the luncheon.

Ticket prices include tax and gratuity. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Les Dames d’Escoffier Nashville Scholarship Fund.

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Location: Margot Café, 1017 Woodland St., East Nashville

Menu: Three courses, inspired by Lidia Bastinich, crafted by Chef Margot McCormack, utilizing Middle Tennessee ingredients. Lunch will be paired with Bastianich wines.

Tickets: $50 for lunch; $80 for lunch plus a signed copy of Lidia’s Mastering the Art of Italian Cuisine. Both prices include tax and gratuity.

ABOUT LIDIA BASTIANICH

Lidia Bastianich is an Emmy award-winning public television host, a best‐selling cookbook author, restaurateur, and owner of a flourishing food and entertainment business.
